Miguel de Araújo Nobre graduated from the Faculty of Dental Medicine, University of Lisbon in 1998. He joined the MALO CLINIC team in 1999, practicing exclusively in dental implant maintenance and lecturing for the national and international educational program. He is the Director of the Research and Development Department and the Oral Hygiene Department since 2002; and the Director of the Education Department since 2019. He received his Master of Science degree in Epidemiology from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Lisbon in 2011 and the PhD in Epidemiology at the same institution in 2019. He is a visiting Professor at the faculty of Medicine University of Lisbon in the Oral Pathology and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery discipline since 2020; while collaborating with the Institute of Preventive Medicine and the Epi Task force at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Lisbon in research projects in the field of Epidemiology. He is author and co-author of more than 100 publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals in the areas of Implantology, Epidemiology, Periodontology, Cariology, Dental Hygiene and Pharmacology. His publications have been cited over 7000 times, he has an h-index score of 41, and an i10-index score of 71. He co-authored eight book chapters in the field of Implant Dentistry and one patent. Highlight of consisting in one of the 3 original authors of the All-on-4 Concept studies together with Professor Paulo Maló and Professor Bo Rangert; and currently one of the researchers with more scientific publications published on the All-on-4 Concept and Immediate Function. He is the Editor of the Topical Collection “Implant Dentistry – Trends, Challenges and Innovations” of the Journal of Clinical Medicine (Impact factor: 4.964), in addition of being a Reviewer in 20+ international scientific peer-reviewed journals.
